Honda CB 1000 R Stardust Swiss Limited Edition 2020

Special model for Switzerland

Honda Switzerland has launched the special Stardust model based on the CB 1000 R. The limited edition is intended to commemorate 50 years of the moon landing.

On July 20, 1969, NASA celebrated the first manned moon landing. Honda in Switzerland is now commemorating this day with the special model VS.B 1000 R Stardust, of which only 15 copies are issued.

A touch of space

In order to do justice to the theme of moon landing, the naked bike has a special paint finish in Moon Gray combined with Cosmic Black. The designers also compose golden stripes on the various components. The built-in Kineo spoke rims catch the eye and look particularly spectacular on the single-sided swing arm. Bridgestone RS10 sports tires are mounted on it. The mounted SC Project rear silencer is flattering for both eyes and ears. The rear bumper has been made airier with a miniature license plate holder and mini LED turn signals. At the front, the indicators went into the handlebar end caps by Rizoma. Rizoma also contributes the new handlebars, the mirrors and the milled hand levers. The seat hump is covered, the seat cushion covered with Alcantara. In addition, Stardust lettering was engraved on the mini windshield and the radiator grille.

With real meteorite stone

As a special feast for the eyes, the series Honda logo on the front of the tank has been replaced by a piece made from a real meteorite – also with the Honda logo. Honda Switzerland worked with the Geneva watchmaker Antoine Prezusio, who built meteorite stones into his chronograph.

The special model is available for 19,980 Swiss francs.
