A Honda Fireblade is currently on offer in Italy, which the Gresini Racing Team used as a test bike. It was piloted by Marco Simoncelli, Michele Pirro and Scott Redding.

The 2011 Honda CBR 1000 RR is offered by the Italian dealer Ruote da Sogno from Reggio Emilia near Modena. The Fireblade built by the Gresini Racing Team for the racetrack was never used for racing. It was used exclusively as a motorcycle for test drives.
Prominent pre-riders
As part of private test drives, Marco Simoncelli in 2011, Michele Pirro in Vallelunga in 2012 and Scott Redding in Jerez in 2014 sat in the saddle of the Honda, among others. The San Carlo design can be clearly assigned to Simoncelli. A certificate from the Gresini Racing Team confirms that all three racing drivers really moved the machine.

The provider does not provide any information on the technical equipment and upgrading. What can be seen, however, is a fully adjustable Ohlins chassis, a racing fairing, racing switch units on the handlebars, a racing tank, larger coolers, a polished frame and a polished swing arm. Judging by the test drivers, one can assume that the equipment is absolutely suitable for the racetrack.
That can Ruote da Sogno but also pay. A whopping 48,000 euros are required for the ex-Gresini test bike with around 16,000 kilometers on the clock and all vehicle documents.
Conclusion
48,000 euros may not be too much for a collector’s item from a prominent previous possession, but for a pure track bike it is an announcement.
