Subtle facelift for Euro 5

Honda has refreshed its two small enduro bikes CRF 250 L and CRF 250 Rally for the 2021 model year. Even before the official premiere on November 13th, the Japanese published the first information.

D.he model upgrade of the two 250cc machines is of course the focus of the Euro 5 conversion. Modifications to the exhaust, air filter, inlet and outlet sides make the single-cylinder four-stroke engine fit for the new specifications. There is no concrete information about the changes yet. So far, the 250 single has made 25 hp and 23 Nm, a performance potential that it should probably keep.

New frame, modified look

Other changes for 2021 include modified frames with increased stiffness and less weight, revised spring elements with more suspension travel and subtle optical retouching. The CRF 250 L approaches the CRF 450 and gets a new headlight, new hand guards and new side covers. The rally keeps its Dakar look, but is equipped with an enlarged tank, a higher windshield, new hand guards and new side covers.

Conclusion

The CRF 250 L will remain a bike for all leisurely enduro hikers in the 2021 model year. The rally will be even more suitable for traveling.
