The NTV 650 made the heyday of many couriers. Utility par excellence, it served as the basis for the creation of this Deauville. It also recovers its gimbal, as well as the 647 cm3 twin. A discreet but sufficiently torquey and almost indestructible mechanism. The bike is pretty, with the attire of a great traveler and a finely crafted fairing. Protection is however reduced. High screen recommended and foot deflectors compulsory. The saddlebags are very well integrated into the trim, although they are not really practical. Let’s end the reprimands with a few vibrations and a finish too fair for a GT. In this niche, Deauville is the most accessible of the road. For the price of a big roadster, this queen of versatility can deliver parcels in Paris as well as go on vacation on the shores of the Atlantic. The suspensions offer remarkable comfort. The bike rises with ease and a very pleasant agility. Braking is effective in all uses. Conclusion: the motorcycle holds the road, does not fear it, and is accessible to all.
