Japanese media want to have learned from corporate circles that Honda wants to launch a smaller version of the X-ADV off-road scooter.

E.It was only a few days ago that Honda presented the ADV 150 in Indonesia, which looks like a shrunk X-ADV scooter. However, the Japanese media want to have learned that Honda would like to expand its range of adventure scooters even further. A 250 version is planned for the Asian market as well as a variant with 300 cc for Europe and possibly North America.

Forza 300 as a technology donor

The Honda X-ADV should technically use the new Honda Roller-Forza 300. Its 279 cm³ single cylinder produces 25 hp and provides 27 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a continuously variable V-belt automatic. The Forza 300 is also equipped with traction control. The best prerequisites for adopting this drive train in the X-ADV 300. Only the suspension elements and possibly the wheel sizes should be adjusted for future light off-road use.

The lines of the small X-ADV should be adapted to that of the large X-ADV. There is also LED lighting and a digital cockpit. The Honda X-ADV 300 could celebrate its premiere at EICMA 2019, the 250 version could already be at the Tokyo Motor Show in October.
