Need the villain! The arrival of a unique style CB 1000 R goes hand in hand with the creation of a new family of roadsters at Honda. The identity is strong, and comes in multiple displacements. Young wolves will be delighted to find the features, style and attitude of the big CB in this little streetfighter that is the CB 125 R.
Honda finally joins a band of rascals with some surprise. The brand had accustomed us to something softer with its series of CBF 125. But here, we have to unsolder the Yamaha MT-125, Aprilia Tuono 125, KTM 125 Duke and Suzuki GSX-S 125. It starts to make people . And we must arrive with key elements: a face, technology, and a real personality.
The face, it scratches its arrival. The CB 125 R will have no trouble getting noticed. It follows the brand’s new trend, called Neo Sport Cafe. Then, his pedigree. With less than 130 kilos fully packed, it is one of the lightest 125 on the market. A Katoche or a Yam carries 10 kilos more. Side part-cycle, the small CB wants to advance its arguments, with an inverted fork of 41 mm completed with a radial brake caliper with 2 pistons. The Honda CB 125 R makes up for it with technological inlays that will hit the mark. Digital instrumentation and a globular headlight enriched with rows of LEDs. Frugal, the roadster announces to be satisfied with barely more than 2 liters to make 100 terminals. With 10 liters in the stomach, the full tank should take you beyond 480 km. The reality will be a little shorter. But the autonomy will still be excellent.
Honda finally throws a nasty little roadster into the 125 clan. The CBF did not have the necessary aggressiveness. The CB 125 R arrives with a posture that speaks volumes. The fight can continue, each builder has his slingshot.
