Now protected and controlled by the Polaris group, Indian can now quietly cruise into a new era. The new Chief Classic thus honors its almost legendary lineage by throbbing under the fibrillations of its imposing V-twin.. Majestic, incomparable, carved in the depths of America, this machine has the charming metal, the fat muscle to perfection and the abundant silhouette.
The Indian Chief Classic seems to come from a movie, with the scent of the great Hollywood. She did not know them but seems to have played with Bogart, Grant, Cooper, Brando. The story arises on its curves that it exhibits without restraint. Its characteristic large skirts, its 60 spoke rims shod with whitewall tires, chrome to cover an avenue: the Chief is both classic and attractive. Because now, the Chief Classic can do without a key. Just have the key fob in your pocket, get in and drive off. Modern touches run here and there, such as ABS and serial cruise control, the digital screen at the bottom of the tachometer, the LED indicators, the aluminum frame, the ride-by-wire accelerator , the injection…. But that’s not what will make you ogle this Indian. No ; it also tempts you (especially) with its big and new engine: the Thunder Stroke 111.

We are far from the loving toy to be pushed around.
The Chief Classic is the most accessible of the new 111 ci range models. A very relative notion because all the models want to be in the premium category. At more than 23,000 euros, the Indian makes his wallet cough before belching his metallic rumblings. But make no mistake: this is not an ordinary custom, it is refinement struck with authentism.
