Noble carbon fiber version based on FTR-1200

The Indian FTR Carbon 2020 expands the FTR series with a noble carbon fiber version, which is powered by the already well-known 1200 V-Twin.

Announced that an FTR Carbon will come I.ndian already at the end of April. But whether it would be an FTR 1200 or an FTR 750 was unclear until the end. Now we know: the Indian FTR Carbon 2020 is rolling in with the 120 PS strong 1,203 cm³ V-Twin that we already know from the FTR 1200. The premium carbon version was inspired by the FTR 750, which recently dominated flat track racing with three Grand National titles in a row.

With all carbon fiber parts, the Indian FTR Carbon lives up to its name: The front fender, the tank, the airbox cover and the cover of the seat are made of carbon. And if you haven’t recognized it yet by the typical carbon look, you can do it "FTR carbon"-The lettering on the tank makes it unmistakably clear that this is a particularly noble member of the Indian FTR family.

Indian FTR Carbon rolls up fully equipped

The carbon fiber parts are joined by a low-mounted, black Akrapovic exhaust system. In addition, the Indian FTR Carbon comes into service fully equipped: Brembo brakes provide deceleration, lean angle-dependent ABS as well as traction, stability and wheelie control. Three modifiable driving modes are available to the pilot (sport, standard, rain). Cruise control as well as LED lights all around and a 4.3-inch LED touchscreen with USB fast charging connection and Bluetooth compatibility are also on board. The FTR Carbon is also compatible with more than 40 parts from the range of accessories.
