Launched on the market in 1986, the GTR has built a reputation as a carefree traveler. Retouched in 1994 in terms of aesthetics, it is above all the noise standards that caused him concern by blowing his once so expressive engine.. Not really detrimental for normal use – it is spoiled with a passenger and freight: the machine is somewhat struggling when called upon on the motorway. Its chassis is efficient but old; this is found in high speed darting.
The GTR is above all the archetype of the tireless needy. The journalists were not mistaken and it is moreover that one sees everywhere on the road of the Tour de France. Although a bit heavy at low speed, and handicapped by a small turning radius, the GTR benefits from flawless road holding, a very protective fairing, very good comfort, \ ‘a practical and discreet gimbal, a record autonomy thanks to the largest tank on the market (28.5 L), a beefy pair of suitcases (but not aesthetically great) … so find a GT for this price which offers so much! Aging, the Kawa road suffers mainly from its outdated design. For the rest, the GTR is one of the most effective tools for the job. She doesn’t look like much, but she knows how to roll up her sleeves.
