Quarter-liter hit for Asia

For the Asian market, Kawasaki is launching a new Supersport 250 cc. The new bike was presented in Indonesia. But she only enters the big stage at the Tokyo Motor Show.

Small-volume super athletes are in great demand on the Asian markets, and this segment is also served accordingly by the large providers. Kawasaki has now presented the new Ninja 250 in Indonesia, but the actual world premiere is not planned until the Tokyo Motor Show at the end of October.

Visually, the new Kawasaki Ninja 250 is almost the same as the Ninja 400 that we know. The new 250 is available in two different colors. The standard equipment includes ABS and a keyless drive authorization system, as is already available on the Kawasaki GTR 1400. Kawasaki has not yet given any technical data. The new model year should be at the level of the previous models. Here the 249 cm³ in-line two-cylinder with four-valve technology and injection made 39 hp and 23.5 Nm. The weight was given as 164 kilograms. It was shifted by a six-speed gearbox.
