With the VN 1700 Voyager of the current model year Kawasaki now offers the first motorcycle with iPod connection.
The 17 995 Euro expensive tourer bike is always designed with its lush front bowl, leg signs, suitcases, the topcase velvet backrest, front and rear camshaws, and the audio system with radio for long distances. The connection option for iPod, XM tuner and CB radio should underline this.
For reliable grip to the point exactly the new K-ACT brake system (Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-Braking Technology) should ensure a combined composite brake system. For the drive, the 1 700 cc of displacement is large aggregate with 54 kW / 73 hp power responsible. The maximum torque of 136 Nm is 2 750 rpm.
In Germany, the Voyager of the model year 2009 is limited to 50 units, in Europe a total of 400 units. After the guarantee card registration, buyers receive an iPod nano with eight gigabytes storage capacity, product video, European dealer directory and Kawasaki K-Care information as well as an adapter cable. Each of these iPods is equipped with a running serial number of 1 to 400, according to this number each customer receives a suitable tank adhesive.
