For fans of custom, cruising and large displacement, the VN 1700 Tourer strengthens Kawa’s offering. Replacing the 1600 Tourer, this Jumbo Jet sits right between the late VN Classic and the Vulcan Voyager. Small detail appeared in 2015: the Kawa customs are no longer called VN but recovers the American name, Vulcan. And here, the first name is no longer ‘Tourer’ but ‘Nomad’.

With its big 1700 cc twin, the VN .. sorry, Vulcan, knows how to catch the eye and the attention of amateurs. This Nomad version is predisposed for beautiful duo getaways with the right comfort: rigid side cases, large windshield, cruise control, double set of steps as large as meal trays, and sissy-bar of good size for the back of Madame. A beautiful beast for beautiful weekends without wavering towards the exuberance of the Vulcan Voyager, even more equipped and overflowing, more typical for long stays. Compared to the VN 1600 Tourer, the 1700 features a new chassis, new engine, new 6-speed gearbox, increased torque and power. It wants to be remarkable, and we can only agree to its superb two-tone color.
