Despite being Akashi’s youngest in customs, the Vulcan 900 can’t help but want to play the road like its big brother. His twin may have half the displacement, yet he decided to go on an expedition too. The big 1700 Nomad has chosen one course of action: cruiser in style, without encroaching on the extravagance of the Voyager liner; the 900 wants to do the same, but with more lightness. By equipping the right pack, here it is transformed into the Vulcan 900 Light Tourer. With its sissy bar and additional fire game, it almost looks like a mini-road king. A large windshield and two leather suitcases of 15 liters each are together to go on a trip.

The VN 900 Light Tourer goes below 10,000 euros, and its price is more than 6,000 euros lower than that of the Vulcan 1700 Nomad, the latter flying over a certain philosophy of light travel. When it comes to the engine, the difference is huge: around 20 horsepower and above all around 5 mkg to the advantage of the big Vulcan. In short, when one gently pulls you towards the ride, the other pushes you powerfully towards cruising.
