The VN 900 custom version asserts a little more character in the average range of Kawasaki customs, with a more rebellious motivation. Unsurprisingly, it takes the technical basis of the 900 Classic, including the 903 cc V-twin. This one is touched up slightly: with 50 horses, it leaves 4 less than on the Classic. The torque is also down slightly. All wet, this VN weighs 4 kilos less than his brother.
But it is above all at the aesthetic level that the Custom exudes its difference. Its rear fender hugs the wheel less to refine the rear line. Above all, its large 21-inch double-spoke front wheel (16-inch spoked on the Classic) frankly slams the front end. Clearly, this little guy wants to explain himself harshly with the Harley 883 Iron. It is also equipped with a raised Drag-bar type handlebars, a specific saddle and more sporty footrests, cut off from the imposing steps. It won’t really be the wallet but the style that will make you choose.
