Eddie Lawson – That name rings a bell. If in addition you adore the Superbikes of the 80s, pay more than attention to the ZRX 1100 R. Admire this big roadster tinted with a very special Replica decoration, its swingarm with inverted reinforcement, and the touch of the past with its square fork head. Such a singular machine must have a big heart – no question of having a chili con carne with a taste of steamed potato – On that side, no problem. The impressive 4-legged is overflowing with torque. It starts at quarter-turn, no response time, and climbs vigorously in the turns. Big watts, a nice extension, can the chassis keep up ?
No problem. The road handling is excellent, the machine accepting all situations while remaining riveted to the asphalt. We note a certain dryness of the suspensions which does not alter the dynamic qualities of the bike. Don’t worry about braking. The discs are pinched by beefy 6-piston calipers.
With this big roadster, Kawa is directly attacking the Yamaha 1300 XJR and the Suzuki Bandit 1200 and GSX. Its particularly jubilant character and its very expressive look make it a machine of choice..
