This very exclusive pistarde is renewed for 2013, with only one imperative: Ready to race! This is the slogan of KTM. This definition could not be better suited to this track version of the RC8 sports car. The 1190 RC8 R track is a pure track tool, and meant for nothing else. You don’t even have to remove the road hardware … There aren’t any. This bike has been designed for the circuit only, and may be entered as is in an FIM Superstock championship; it is approved for. It does not encumber headlights, tread tires or passenger footrests. With the equipment on it, you can hit a stopwatch immediately after purchasing it. To get the most out of its big 180 hp twin (a big grip more than the RC8 R), the RC8 R Track has White Power racing suspension, forged Marchesini rims, monobloc radial brake calipers. Brembo, slick tires, an Akrapovic exhaust, a set of racing parts from the KTM PowerParts competition department (including a shifter, a special cylinder head gasket, a new wiring harness, etc.), with a reduced weight at 173 kilos (9 lighter), and a white-orange fairing ready to race – all you have to do is put your sponsors and a race number on it.
Here are the specifics of this KTM RC8 R Track:
– 180 horsepower performance
– Weight 173 kg
– Akrapovic EVO exhaust
– Thinner head gasket to increase compression
– Racing mapping
– Racing air filter
– Racing WP suspension
– Shifter
– racing harness

– KTM PowerParts folding lever
– Racing saddle
– Racing brake pads
– Racing transmission chain with aluminum pinion
– KTM PowerParts racing tank cover
– KTM PowerParts rear stand
– KTM PowerParts side protection and cover
– Slick tires
– White lacquered paint with orange number plates.
