2001 KTM 640 DUKE II

Menus

With its face of insects, the KTM Duke II does not go unnoticed. The Austrian brand presents a machine that is unlike any other. Does she shock you? So much the better, you will discover an exceptional machine. 17-inch BBS rims, 320 mm brake disc, dual exhaust under the saddle, Magura handlebars, and a 624 cm single cylinder³ which provides the trifle of 55 horses. The workmanship is excellent and, although it presents itself exclusively, the machine is designed to be usable and pleasant on a daily basis. the engine, flexible and lively, does not hesitate to take turns and does not suffer from any loss of power over its range of use. the perfect driving position, the firmness of the suspensions, the reduced travel of the fork, all this encourages sporty and aggressive driving. in this little game, the Duke II more readily accepts a sporty piloting rewarded by formidable efficiency. The braking is excellent and it is easy to stop the 145 kilos of this strange insect. More than a toy, this machine can also be a formidable tool for those who can tame it, because the beast is temperamental, but oh so enjoyable.
