The Duke has always been a model of its own in modern motorcycle production. At first with SM tendency, it gradually became a sporty roadster; the only one to be powered by a single cylinder. The chrome-molybdenum trellis frame (9 kgs), the swingarm and the rear aluminum buckle (4 kgs each) do not suffer any changes; only a repositioning of the fork is to be noted. The column angle does not change as the trail increases. What offer more stability. The WP suspensions consist of an inverted 43 mm fork and an adjustable preload shock absorber – full adjustable elements are available but only for the R version.
Braking has no criticism to receive. Does a single brake disc seem light to you? The motorcycle is just as much. With 148.5 kilos, it will be a real joke for the 320 mm disc pinched by a Brembo M50 radial 4-piston caliper. For the rear, the 240mm disc is bitten by a single piston.
