We don’t know by how many kilometers this will reduce the range. Possibly not at all, because you drive much slower with a trailer, i.e. without it.

Kuberg Ranger: A cross between dirt bikes, e-bikes and cargo bikes
Kuberg Ranger
Cross between dirt bike and e-moped
The Czech e-motorcycle company recently presented its latest model, the Kuberg Ranger. It looks like a cross between a dirt bike, a small e-motorcycle and a cargo bike.
07/23/2020
The 50 kilogram electric motorcycle is powered by a 14 kW (18.8 hp) brushless motor and accelerates to a maximum of 80 km / h – in race mode. In Adventure mode, the speed limit is 40 km / h, in Eco mode at 25 km / h. With the latter, however, a range of 100 kilometers should be possible. In race mode, the e-dirt bike should last 75 minutes. With a second battery (862 euros surcharge) it should be 120 minutes of driving time at full power. If you don’t drive at full throttle all the time, you should get a range of 30 kilometers in race mode, with a second battery it is around 60 kilometers.
Instead of footrests, the Kuberg Ranger is equipped with footboards. The e-motorcycle is also equipped with air suspension. The seat can be folded up for off-road driving while standing and raised again at the push of a button. A fully adjustable Manitou Dorado fork with 180 mm of travel absorbs at the front. The Tektro Orion 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes should ensure a decent braking distance for the Kuberg Ranger and the electric motorcycle should also recuperate energy during the braking process. Shifting cannot and does not have to be done, the Kuberg Ranger drives without a clutch or transmission.
With a trailer a total of 130 kilos payload
Special eye-catcher: the Kuberg Ranger can optionally pull a cargo trailer. It has a payload of 30 kilograms. That should be enough for camping equipment, provisions and water for several days. It is best to set up the tent near a power source – in case the Kuberg Ranger runs out of juice. The manufacturer specifies two hours for the charging time. The bike itself can handle a payload of up to 100 kilos. The ground clearance is not particularly generous: there is a 24 cm gap between the floor and the footboard. The handlebar is 111 cm high and the wheelbase is 128 cm. When folded out, the seat floats at a height of 87 cm, when folded it is 57 cm.
Kuberg Ranger from 3,449 euros
Kuberg is currently accepting pre-orders for the Ranger via the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. The bikes are available in black and military green. It starts at 3,449 euros for the entry-level model (standard) with 8 kW. The next higher category provides 14 kW, that is “Race” and costs 3,921 euros. the “Adventure”-The version also comes with 14 kW, but then also includes the cargo trailer at a price of 4,309 euros. All three versions are to be delivered in November 2020. The upgrade to the second battery costs 862 euros.
Conclusion
The manufacturer offers an LED light package for 531 euros, but there are still no indicators and license plate holders to get close to street legal with the Kuberg Ranger. Unfortunately, we have no further information from the manufacturer as to whether there will be a road approval kit. Too bad. Although the vehicle is not suitable for the masses, it is certainly fun enough for a weekend in the undergrowth.
