Sharp brake with red saddle
Own standards also sets the Buell in terms of brakes: The "Zero Torsional Load" front wheel brake works with four brake pads and an eight piston stick. The rear brake, however, is discreetly hidden: here a 240-millimeter stainless steel brake disc and a hidden inside on the rocker mounted double piston-stick saddle are used. The brake weighs 680 grams less than a conventional rear wheel brake, which reduces the unsprung masses.
