Moto-Morini delves into its history to offer us a new somewhat bloody roadster. With its worked tank and its red color of the most beautiful effect, the brand emerges from oblivion its 3 and 1/2 350 GT from 1972 and created the 1200 MILANO. A beautiful object, which clearly differs from the cousin Corsaro ZZ. By design? Not only. The shapes are there to arouse curiosity but the technique goes further.
The Morini 1200 Milano is equipped with a tubular steel trellis frame very similar to that of the Corsaro but revised in terms of geometry. The all-new swingarm is also a tubular truss type. Superb, like some Bimota. The front is done in Italian seriousness, as always, with an inverted fork terminated by Brembo 4-piston radial calipers. Note the short mudguard mounted on plates with an obvious design, the large lower triple tree triple clamp, the tapered rear end covered with a leather and alcantara saddle, the bevelled mufflers MV-Agusta Brutale style, the tuning of the wheel by eccentric and the perforated metal strip on the tank. Morini obviously wants to flatter the owner.
As on the Corsaro ZZ, the Milano gives its information via a 5-inch TFT screen. It will have its own graphics here. The engine is from the same source. A big twin of 1187 cm3 generous in sensations which should send 116 horsepower here. Pay attention to the exhaust pipes, very close to the crankcases for a striking effect.
A very beautiful machine that is sure to attract fans of the genre. A production of only 30 copies already maintains an additional dose of particularity. With a courtesy gift of a specific Moto-Morini helmet and jacket.
