Moto Guzzi V7 III (2017 to 2018)
New model variant "Limited"
Moto Guzzi has introduced another variant of the V7 III: the Moto Guzzi V7 III Limited, which is limited to 500 copies.
The new Moto Guzzi V7 III Limited was presented at Wheels and Waves 2018 in Biarritz. The only difference between the new model and its predecessors is its appearance. Many of the components used are made of chrome, aluminum and carbon. Each copy also has its own serial number. The new model is limited to a quantity of 500 copies and will cost 10,350 euros in Germany (including ancillary costs).

As early as February 2018, just 18 months after the presentation of the first Moto Guzzi V7 III models, the Italian manufacturer had presented another model variant: the Moto Guzzi V7 III Carbon.
The new Moto Guzzi V7 III Carbon differs from the other model variants only in terms of appearance. Technically, nothing has changed compared to the other model variants Anniversario, Stone, Racer, Special. The paintwork of the new Guzzi is predominantly matt black. The carbon version is officially listed as a limited edition. Accordingly, there will only be 1,921 copies. It is available now and costs 9,990 euros (including ancillary costs).
Moto Guzzi V7 III presentation at EICMA 2016
Almost ashamed, the press release on the Moto Guzzi V7 III refers to an increased nominal power and 60 Nm maximum torque compared to the previous models – although this was by no means the driving idea behind the update. Rather, the third V7 generation should remain a beginner-friendly, compact and not too heavy fun vehicle of this millennium.
The modifications to the engine of the Moto Guzzi V7 III contribute in particular. (Don’t worry, it’s still a V2 with a longitudinal crankshaft.) The housing has been reinforced in a few points, the oil pan has been redesigned, and the crankshaft’s moment of inertia has been specifically reduced in order to achieve a livelier response and an adequate engine braking torque. The lubrication channels have also been optimized in order to be able to contribute better to the cooling of the unit; additional oil ducts should help reduce the performance-guzzling splashing processes in the crankcase.
Bore and stroke (80 and 74 mm respectively) of the Moto Guzzi V7 III correspond to the previous series, but the cylinder heads, cylinders and pistons have been completely redesigned. In the best Guzzi tradition, lower camshafts, bumpers and rocker arms operate the valves.
The safety features of all Moto Guzzi V7 III variants include ABS and a two-stage adjustable traction control; Extensive accessories for further customization and optional smartphone integration are also available.

Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone
Moto Guzzi
Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone
The Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone is characterized by completely dispensing with chrome parts. Matt black paint and a suitably designed saddle give it an unobtrusive, nonetheless present appearance.
Other available colors are clearly inspired by the 1970s: Azzurro Elettrico ("Electric blue"), Verde Camouflage ("Camouflage green") and Giallo Energico ("Energetic yellow").
The only variant is the Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone on cast rims with 5 double spokes and limited to a single round instrument.
Moto Guzzi V7 II Special
Moto Guzzi
Moto Guzzi V7 III Special.
Moto Guzzi sees the V7 III in the special version particularly close to the spirit of the original model. Many chrome parts and bright applications support its classically elegant look.
The multi-colored stripes on the tank and side covers are reminiscent of the 1975 V750 S3. Fork protectors (instead of bellows like Stone and Racer) characterize the Special and the Anniversario.
Wire-spoke wheels, two round instruments and the chrome-plated passenger grab bar are standard equipment. The classic quilting of the seat emphasizes the tradition in which the Moto Guzzi V7 III Special sees itself.
The Moto Guzzi V7 III Special is available in Nero Inchiostro (ink black) and Blu Zaffiro (sapphire blue).
Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer
Moto Guzzi
Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer
Like its predecessor, the Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer is easy to recognize by the red frame, the red swing arm and the silk-chrome-plated tank. Nevertheless, it differs significantly from it in technical and aesthetic terms: Guzzi’s heraldic animal, the eagle, sits in prominent red on the said tank.
Although the hump seat looks like one-person operation, the Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer is quite suitable for driver and pillion passenger. Components made of black anodized aluminum, for example the throttle valve housing, as well as brushed aluminum as on the front number plate, complete the sporty aura of the Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer.
From a technical point of view, the stereo struts from Ohlins, adjustable in preload, rebound and compression, are an essential contribution to the road sport performance of the Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer.
There will be a numbered edition of the Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer, which can be recognized by a badge on the upper fork bridge.
Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario
Moto Guzzi
Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario
"happy birthday!" Moto Guzzi says himself with the V7 III Anniversario – exactly 750 times, that’s how often this variant should be produced in a limited edition.
The Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario is based on the variant "Special", But the prestigious (if not to say porn-like) chrome tank with a golden eagle and an elaborately quilted real leather bench clearly set it apart from it.
The serial number of the Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario is laser engraved on the control head.
