Tom Dixon is British and a renowned industrial designer who mainly draws lamps and furniture. He is also a Moto Guzzi fan. For the 2019 London Design Festival, Dixon had one M.oto Guzzi V7 redesigned according to his ideas. The result is the Tomoto.

Dixon formed a tank out of sheet aluminum that looks like a zeppelin. The new side covers were also formed from sheet aluminum. Particular eye-catchers are the aluminum panels with laser-cut structure integrated into the rims. The manifold pipes up to the two raised stainless steel rear silencers were wrapped in corrugated pipe.

The front wheel fender is cut in bikini format, the fork has bellows. The rear was also cut off, directly behind the single seat. As the icing on the cake, Dixon installed a small LED round spotlight, the lamp housing of which is reminiscent of the “Fin Obround” room lamp he designed.

The Dixon design is rounded off by hand-brushed Tomoto lettering on the tank.
