Light power cruiser with V2

With the new GV 125 S Aquila, Hyosung is celebrating a comback with the 125 cc after years of abstinence. The cruiser uses a V2 engine that is unusual for this class.

The optically sets Hyosung GV 125 S Aquila on a design in the American bobber style. Characteristic are such a low driver’s seat, a flat handlebar, a shortened fork, thick tires and a lot of black.

V2 with 14 hp

In the tubular steel frame with a 120 / 80-16 tire at the front and a 150 / 80-15 tire at the rear sits a newly developed 3-valve 60-degree V2 with water cooling, which is only homologated to Euro 4. It generates 14 hp, which accelerates the 165 kilogram Hyosung to up to 98 km / h. It is shifted by a five-speed gearbox. For the deceleration work, the Koreans rely on disc brakes on both wheels in combination with a CBS brake system. The clear cockpit informs digitally, the stereo spring struts with 67 millimeters of spring travel at the rear can be adjusted in the preload. The telescopic fork with a travel of 135 millimeters has no adjustment options. A seat height of only 710 millimeters makes handling easier. 12 liters of tank capacity ensure sufficient range.

Hyosung

The new GV 125 S Aquila is available with a short or long bench seat for two people and in the classic colors solid black or matt black. As a suitable accessory, the GV 125 S Aquila can also be equipped with a side case, a bench bag in leather brown, pannier handle, weather protection screen and crash bar. The small Korea cruiser is available at prices from 3.504 euros plus 190 euros transfer costs. A Euro 5 variant will be added.
