Although lower than that of the premier category, the media coverage of the World Superbike is also substantial: Infront Sports claims a 33% increase in its TV audiences in 2010 (498 million cumulative viewers over the season) and announces more than 3 000 hours of television broadcasting across 175 countries for the WSBK races.
