Yamaha XVZ 13 A Royal Star review
Man thing
Finally the world has a real macho bike again.
Don’t be angry, girls, but this is not for us: The XVZ 13 A is men’s toy – showin hardware that women quite unequivocally rejects. Not that we are basically too small, too weak or even too clumsy to drive this bunch of motorcycles through the traffic – we cleared such complexes a long time ago – no, most of us are simply not macho enough. And somehow you have to be macho for the Royal Star if you want to be taken seriously by the audience.
In fact, His Majesty the Star is always on stage. Always and everywhere. While the world hardly looks at a Harley with its butt these days – the crowd does it – everything that crawls and flares dislocates its neck when the new Yamaha strutted by in red, cream and chrome. You just can’t be overlooked, this heavy hum.
