The British GP turn-based
Donington attracts a crowd of stoic enthusiasts, regardless of the often temperamental weather. We remember the exploits of Di Meglio and De Puniet in the rain … In MotoGP, the n ° 46 is 46 points behind Hayden: a sign ? Round by round.
At this stage of the championship, the suspense gradually disappears in 125, it boils down more and more to a mano a mano in 250, but he is total in the premier class with a Rossi who discovers the consequences of his injuries….
Four bends to the left, seven to the right and a short straight line of 564 m for a total development of 4023 m: the Donington circuit, created for motorcycles, is a track for big hearts in particular because of its vertiginous descent. There, the sharpest 125 pilots go all out !
The second part gives way to a series of acceleration and braking. It takes less than 1.30 ’’ in MotoGP, allowing the 68,391 spectators present to see the riders pass more often than on other circuits. The rain often present on the English track favors both the spectacle and the more technical drivers..
The relatively less effort required of the drivers at Donington than on other tracks could favor those suffering from the consequences of falls, including a certain Rossi … But the provisional leader, Nicky Hayden, also likes these conditions. Conversely, in the dry, the English circuit requires significant physical effort, especially in its second part. What to fuel even more the suspense, the changing weather forecasting beautiful and hot for the tests but possible disturbances on Sunday…
Last detail: in Donington the races start with the 250, then the MotoGP and finally the 125 last. But Moto-Net’s turn-based will follow the usual order, in ascending categories. Ready ?
Class 125
