The future official Suzuki MotoGP team offers to relive the main stages of the development of its new motorcycle, the XRH-1, through four videos commented in English. As a reminder, Suzuki plans to return to the premier class in 2015 with a new prototype developed among others by Randy de Puniet (read in particular).

episode 1

First rough cuts of the new proto in Japan with the development pilot Nobuatsu Aoki. Surprise: the new engine is not a V4 like on Suzuki’s previous 4-stroke MotoGP, but a 1000 cc inline 4-cylinder, whose timing is asynchronous like on the Yamaha YZR-M1. An unexpected but commercially more interesting about-face, thanks to the links forged between MotoGP and GSX-Rs.

Episode 2

First dynamic tests on the Motegi circuit (Japan) for the new Suzuki test driver, Randy de Puniet. Announcement of the appointment of the Italian Davide Brivio – former manager of Valentino Rossi – as head of the structure.

Episode 3

First tests in Europe (Catalonia and Aragon, in Spain). Randy is less than a second from Jorge Lorenzo at Catalunya! Discover the official livery of the motorcycle and announce the official return to MotoGP in 2015.

Episode 4

Dynamic tests at Motegi (Japan), engine developments on the bench in Ryuyo (Japan), static tests of the unique Magneti Marelli electronic control unit and dynamic tests at Mugello (Italy).
