Guillaume Marcolini’s condition is considered satisfactory

Guillaume Marcolini, the driver of the Honda n ° 92 involved in a serious fall last night, is under observation at the hospital of Le Mans but regained consciousness. In the race, the classification froze with the Suzuki n ° 2 and 1 in the lead followed by the Yamaha n ° 99.

Involved in a serious fall last night with the Suzuki n ° 1 (read), the rider of the Honda National Moto n ° 92, Guillaume Marcolini, was admitted to the hospital of Le Mans unconscious, after being inadvertently run over by Julien da Costa. He regained consciousness and does not present any physical after-effects, tells us his team manager, Bernard Fourcadet (listen to our audio interview opposite).

But the Honda are definitely not celebrating this year at Le Mans: at 11:20 am, a big crash hit the No. 56 CBR of the Select Machine team in the Dunlop curve. The stretcher intervenes to evacuate Jocelyn Henry who injured her ankle, but more from fear than harm.

At 11:40 am, good news: it is the return to the track for Magalï Langlois on the Yamaha n ° 67, which despite the team’s morning difficulties continues as planned (see our).

At 11:52 am, smoke escapes from Suzuki n ° 20: when filling with oil, a plastic cap would have been forgotten on the ball valve. The overflow that escapes appears to be the cause of the suspicious smoke. But the team chooses to continue without going to the stand.

Around noon, all the teams gradually switched back to slick tires.
