Kawasaki SRC confirms its pole position at the 24H Moto du Mans
The wet track at the start of the second qualifying session did not upset the hierarchy established yesterday in the first dry track session: Team SRC Kawasaki will start tomorrow from pole position for the 37th edition of the 24 Hours Moto at Le Mans, final of the world championship endurance 2014.
The wet track at the start of the second qualifying session did not upset the hierarchy established yesterday on a dry track: Team SRC Kawasaki will start tomorrow from pole position for the 37th edition of the 24 Hours Moto at Le Mans, final of the world championship of endurance 2014.
"The pole is good, but the hardest part is ahead of us now", commented Gilles Stafler, team manager of the Greens who will try to win their Le Mans..
Second on the grid after winning the n ° 111 Honda Racing is a very serious contender for victory ahead of Monster Energy Yamaha YART and Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT), which does not give up and just ahead of the leader in the provisional standings, the Yamaha Racing GMT 94 Michelin, which must manage its 21 point lead to get its after its drop in 2004.
First private team, the Honda National Motos is closely followed by the best Superstock crews. First in this category, the Qatar Endurance Racing Team (Kawasaki) will start in 7th position ahead of Team Traqueur Louit Moto 33 (Kawasaki), Junior Team Le Mans Sud (Suzuki), current leader of the Superstock World Cup, Tati Team Beaujolais Racing (Kawasaki) and AM Moto Racing Competition (Suzuki).
As in Formula EWC, victory in the Superstock World Cup is at Le Mans: the Junior Team LMS Suzuki is only 9 points ahead of the Penz13.com Franks Autowelt Racing Team (BMW), a little behind during these qualifications but who has not said his last word. We especially noticed during these tests the performance of the BMW Penz13.com Racing Team n ° 31, entered in the Open with Sylvain Barrier, Jason Pridmore and Glenn Allerton, which is in 10th place on the starting grid..
The race promises to be more open and exciting than ever … The start of the 2014 24 Hours Moto du Mans will be given tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. on the Bugatti circuit: stay tuned !
