"I had a solid race, without making any mistakes. I printed a rhythm of roughly 42, small 43 from the first to the last lap. I finished the race almost three seconds ahead of the 2nd, this which is encouraging for the last round in Qatar. I also want to thank the team who did a great job throughout the weekend ".

Lucas Mahias (Kawasaki n ° 44), 2nd:

"It was a nice race. I didn’t have a good feeling because in free practice and then in qualifying, the feeling was not great. I was a bit slow, maybe because I didn’t take the wheel of other drivers during the sessions. In the race, I observed the others and I understood a few things about the track to go faster. Finally, halfway through the race, I was very fast . I attacked to try to get back to first position but it was not possible. It was a good race, for Kawasaki too, so I’m happy ".

Isaac Vinales (Yamaha n ° 32), 3rd:

"I am so happy to be in the parc ferme for the second time in a row. This is the result of our progress over the whole year. I am delighted!"

Corentin Perolari (Yamaha n ° 94), 4th:

"I learned a lot during this race which I spent alongside the big names in the category. I missed myself on three corners, which relegated me to a few tenths of the podium, while my pace would have me allowed me to hang on to it. I have the best result of my career, and I hope to be able to aim for the Top 3 again in Qatar! "

Federico Caricasulo (Yamaha n ° 64), 5th:

"I finished a difficult race in fifth place. We will go to Qatar with a gap reduced to eight points".

Randy Krummenacher (Yamaha n ° 21), 7th:

“It was a very difficult race. The settings on my bike were not perfect and I didn’t make any mistakes but my engine was very slow which prevented me from staying in contact with the riders in front of me. I had two contacts, one with Caricasulo and the other with Perolari, which clearly wasted my time. But I could not have risen to the level of my teammate (who benefited from a better engine, Editor’s note?). I’m sorry not to have a better engine, we will have to fight very hard in Qatar, on a circuit that I really like. I want to stay positive in spite of everything and remember that I I’m still leading the provisional. I’m eight points ahead of Caricasulo, it helps me fight to reach my goal ".

Jules Danilo (Honda n ° 95), 16th:

“It was a very difficult weekend. We had some grip issues on the first day, but it was the same for everyone. I felt we were a little better this morning. took a big step up in terms of feel, but for some reason I had a hard time dropping my reports during the morning warm-up and right off the bat in the first corner I fell on the point dead. It started again on two laps and I got off the track so we had to adapt and finish the race. I thought we could have a good race today. I am very disappointed "

The last event of the Supersport World Championship is scheduled in two weeks in Qatar. The Saturday evening race will be to be followed almost live on MNC: stay tuned !
