As in 2013 – and in 2012, 2011 and 2010 … -, Ducati increased its sales of motorcycles in 2014. Its slight increase of 2% compared to the previous year allows it to exceed the bar of 45,000 units and to set a new record. Che spettacolo !

After improving its record by 185 units in 2013, Ducati reached new heights in 2014! If the increase of + 1.8% may seem minimal, it is reflected in absolute value by the crossing of a new milestone: the Reds delivered 45,100 motorcycles to their customers last year.

The Italian brand – but owned by the German group Volkswagen via Audi – beats its record for the third year in a row and signs a fifth consecutive year of growth. A double feat that she owes in particular to her little monsters…

"With the introduction of the new and, sales of the Monster family increased by + 31%, with 16,409 new motorcycles sold.", Ducati reports. Another family to see its performance improved in 2014: the sports cars !

Finally, Ducati explains that the United States remains their main customer (8,804 motorcycles) and that in a market in North America, the "Mexico grew by + 8%At the same time, sales in Brazil exploded by + 74% (1,174 motorcycles) thanks to the expansion of the network and the production of NED ("necessary in spare parts", CKD in English) of the whole of range.

"In Europe, sales slowed down a bit (-3%, 19,743 motorcycles), mainly due to difficult conditions in several markets", analyze the Bologna Reds, which had to endure a 14% drop in sales on their domestic market (4,284 units).
