The JPMS award the 2010 Product Trophies

As every year, the Professional Motorcycle and Scooter Days (JPMS) are an opportunity to highlight several innovative two-wheeled products. Divided into eight categories, the names of the winners of the 2010 edition were announced last night.

For its eighth edition, the Lyon trade show displays an encouraging dynamism and attendance rate: with 730 brands represented, 220 exhibitors and more than 10,000 professionals expected over two days (instead of three in 2009), the JPMPS 2010 wish visibly facing the crisis !

The first event of this 2010 edition, the presentation of the "JPMS 2010 Product of the Year Trophies" took place last night during the unique and warm evening reserved for two-wheeler professionals.

After deliberation, a jury made up of Stephane Clair (JPMS organizer), Bertrand Sanlaville (editor in chief Moto Verte), Serge Martin (editor in chief France Inter), Jean Savary (editor in chief Action Auto), David Dumain (editor in chief Moto Journal), Didier Ganneau (editor-in-chief l’Officiel du Cycle), Jean Pierre Lochard (manager of the Accessoirement store) selected eight products in eight different categories:

• Green Products: AMV – Electrical Insurance (preferential rates granted on the insurance contribution of an electric or hybrid two-wheeler)

• Design products: Axo – Sayeah jacket (urban jacket with a cut inspired by snowboard clothing)

• Rider safety: Shark – S900 Frost Lumi (helmet coated with luminescent photo ink to be seen at night)

• Women Products: Pascale Molina – Lucie jacket (women’s jacket typed "waterproof" and made in France

• Urban Products: Brembo – B-Jet helmet (jet helmet fitted with a retractable chinstrap, seat belt type)

• Sports Products: Skeed by Kermel (under racing suit highly resistant to abrasion and FIM approved)

• Off-road products: Lazer – MX7 EVO Ultra Light (off-road helmet weighing 956 g with impact indicator)

• Professional products or services: Biker Easy Stand (mobile stand holding the motorcycle by the front wheel)

The best product will be rewarded with "The Grand Prize of the Year 2010" which will be awarded this year by the public and which will be presented to the manufacturer on Monday February 1.
