Nearly forty copies will be offered for sale, including 18 new VX10s, the VX10 world champion in IRC rallies and ten prototypes, including the concept bike made by French designer Philippe Starck.

"300,000 euros is 100,000 more than expected"

Among the assets of Voxan mainly include the sale of "the assembly line, machinery, office equipment and spare parts", told AFP Bernard Vassy, auctioneer in charge of the sale. "The sale has reported for the moment 300,000 euros, it is 100,000 more than expected. It must continue Thursday afternoon in my study in Clermont-Ferrand", added Me Vassy, estimating at 250 people present Wednesday in Issoire including "many foreigners".

"The Voxan brand and its molds will be sold later," concluded Me Vassy without specifying a date. Voxan, which had only a dozen employees against 120 in 2001, was created in 1995 in Issoire. The listing of its share on the Free Market of Euronext Paris was suspended last September, when it went into receivership, before being delisted.

The Auvergne company, whose liabilities exceeded 5 million euros, in 2008 had only a turnover of 450,000 euros with less than thirty motorcycles sold.
