Called the Tumbler Tour (from the name of the current Bat-Mobile), this tour is currently in Europe and has just made a stop in Dublin (Ireland), where the car and the motorcycle of "the bat-man" were able be detailed in great detail by fans.
The opportunity to admire (or not!) The Bat-Pod, the improbable motorcycle ridden by the Batman, directed by Christopher Nolan.
Recognizable by its two huge wheels and stripped-back looks, the Bat-Pod is used by the superhero and the lovely Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises (see the video trailer below).
Its extreme position (the rider is lying on the front of the motorcycle, his legs folded back!) And his truck tires should not facilitate his driving, even if this obviously does not appear in the extracts of the film.
It is true that the film’s $ 250 million budget has undoubtedly helped the directors and especially the riggers of The Dark Knight Rises to get around the handling problems of the Bat-Pod. !
Batman’s motorbike and car will continue their tour in the days to come, until the film’s screening scheduled for July 25 in French cinemas..
