HJC renews its full-face racing helmet with the R-PHA 11

Exit the RPHA 10+ motorcycle helmet: make way for R-PHA 11, new top of the range racing from the South Korean manufacturer HJC. Despite lines close to the previous one, this full-face helmet in tri-composite fibers (whose shell uses a unique mixture of carbon, glass and kevlar) is enjoying a major renewal, without a big price increase.. 

Exit the motorcycle helmet: make way for R-PHA 11, new top of the range racing from the South Korean manufacturer HJC. Despite lines close to the previous one, this full-face helmet in tri-composite fibers (whose shell uses a unique mixture of carbon, glass and kevlar) is enjoying a major renewal, without a big price increase.. 

All the characteristics of the R-PHA 11 would be revised upwards: aerodynamics and visibility are improved thanks to the lowering of the chin bar (the screen will gain 5 mm in height), while the ventilation will increase significantly thanks to the addition of an additional air intake at the forehead and the 30% enlargement of the front air intakes.

The extractors at the rear are now hidden under the spoiler (redesigned) and supplemented by two additional outlets in the lower position on the rear of the helmet.

As on the previous model, the HJC sports helmet is not stingy in equipment and practical aspects: Pinlock lens, screen lock, hooks to install tears-off, nose deflector, anti-swirl flap, removable foam…

These internal linings also introduce a new feature: an emergency extraction system allowing the foams to slide downwards to facilitate the removal of the helmet and reduce the risk of injury. This is a first from HJC, which joins the Japanese Araï and Shoei among the manufacturers using this potentially life-saving technology after a fall.

Offered in 9 different decorations from XS to XXL, the R-PHA 11 helmet is currently landing in the brand’s points of sale at a rather attractive price – in terms of its technology – of € 399.90. Note that inflation is quite moderate since it started at € 349.
