Like Valentino Rossi (read MNC of July 14, 2012), Jorge Lorenzo took advantage of the 2012 MotoGP Italian Grand Prix to unveil a new livery on his X-802 helmet, the excellent top of the range racing from the Italian manufacturer X-Lite ( read in particular our MNC presentation of Nolan helmets 2011 and our First test of the X-802 on the track).
Like Valentino Rossi (read), Jorge Lorenzo took advantage of the 2012 MotoGP Italian Grand Prix to unveil a new livery on his X-802 helmet, the excellent top of the range racing from the Italian manufacturer X-Lite (read in particular our).
Baptized "Black Mamba", from the name of the fastest snake (up to 23 km / h at peak!) And among the most poisonous in the world, this specific decoration was designed by the graphic designers of Starline.
This livery will be added next season to the colors and replicas currently available on the basis of X-802 (Checa, Melandri and Stoner in particular).
"Using the play of gray and black reflections, the design takes depth to resemble the head of the snake as much as possible", explain the designers of this decoration.
"The effect is heightened with two large eyes located near the visor. On the rear part is written" Black Mamba "in street art font to increase the effect of power transmitted by the helmet.".
Made of composite fibers, the X-Lite X-802 is a helmet tailored for the track with less than 1300 grams on the scale in size M. Well balanced and with a good field of vision, it is provided with microfiber foams comfortable and removable.
Extremely well ventilated, it uses a large rear deflector, three extractors, and numerous front air inlets which ensure impeccable ventilation, even in hot weather..
Available from XS to XXL, the X-Lite X-802 is also available under the Nolan brand, which manufactures the Nolan, X-Lite and Grex helmets (see our).
