"They didn’t know it was impossible, so they did it." It is by quoting this expression of the writer Mark Twain that Ludovic Lazareth revealed his latest project: the LMV 496, the prefix of which means "La Moto Volante"! Unrealistic? Not for such an imaginative creator, notably at the origin of a V8 engine and a low-profile quad with a 12-cylinder (Wazuma V12) !

The idea? Build a motorcycle powered on the road by an electric motor and in the air by six kerosene turbines with a total power of "1500 hp" … Even louder: the wheels accommodate four of its reactors – which blow at nearly "2000 km / h" – and fold up to place them vertically and then take off. Quite simply" !
Well, almost: the first public flight was unfortunately cut short due to a turbine damaged by bad weather conditions (rain and cold). Not enough to discourage Ludovic Lazareth, convinced of the potential of his flying motorcycle which takes again the allure and the "4-wheel" format of the already not banal. No question of giving up after more than a year of development !

The brilliant "inventor-preparer" from Annecy-le-Vieux (74) immediately put the book back on the job to finalize this extraordinary project, worthy of Transformers or James Bond. According to the head of the Lazareth design office interviewed by MNC, this LMV 496 would climb to "50 meters" at a speed of "60 km / h" for "ten minutes" !

Yes, you read that right: Lazareth’s flying motorcycle is indeed able to take to the air! The Haut-Savoyard workshop is even starting to sell five copies at a price of 496,000 euros. "Theft" ?! No, in view of its unprecedented possibilities: the LMV 496 is unparalleled since it is capable of rolling and flying, unlike its "competitors" like the .

Remember that the LMV 496, considered as an aircraft as soon as it leaves the ground, is subject to civil aviation rules. So we forget the fantasy of flying over the lines of cars on the periphery !
