List of MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 2017 riders
The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has just published the provisional list of riders entered in the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 Grand Prix World Championship. The 2017 field will have a total of five French riders (two in MotoGP, one in Moto2 and two in Moto3) with the departure of Alexis Masbou and the arrival of Enzo Boulom.
Let us immediately salute the arrival of young French rider Enzo Boulom in the 2017 Moto3 World Championship! Born on January 29, 1997, Enzo has raced in the Rookies Cup and then in the Junior World Championship. Coming from the speed sector of the French Motorcycling Federation (FFM), he won the title of French Moto3 Cadet champion in 2013 and won the Challenge de l’Avenir.
This year, holder of a wild card with Alex Rins’ Procercasa 42 Motorsport team, he unfortunately fell in front of his home crowd. Following the, only Jules Danilo (Honda Ongetta-Rivacold) and Enzo Boulom (Mahindra CIP-Unicom Starker) will represent France in the Moto3 World Championship 2017.
On the French side still, he is riding as planned in MotoGP on the Yamaha of the Var team Tech3 alongside the German Jonas Folger, while Loris Baz continues his adventure in the premier class on the Ducati Avinta Racing. Finally in Moto2, Fabio Quartaro on the Kalex de Paginas Amarillas HP 40 will be the only French representative in the intermediate category..
