The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has just communicated the provisional list of riders entered in the Moto3 Grand Prix World Championship for the 2013 season.

Moto3: who to succeed Sandro Cortese ?

In the Moto3 category, the big favorite for the 2013 season is called Maverick Vinales, now riding a KTM in the Laglisse team. If he manages to be more consistent and strengthen his mentality, the young and fiery Spanish rider could be able to gain the upper hand over Luis Salom (Red Bull KTM), Zulfahmi Khairuddin (Red Bull KTM) or the very fast – but irregular – Romano Fenati (FTR Honda).

Small disappointment for the French clan: Alan Techer (team CIP) is for the moment our only representative in Moto3. The Albigensian Alexis Masbou has not yet signed for the 2013 season, despite his excellent results (several Top 5 and a second place in Germany) before his fractured tibia contracted a few days before the Grand Prix of Misano.

Still suffering from this injury following a fall during, Alexis remains optimistic and recently confided that his situation would clear up in the days to come. "I have two options and whether it is one or the other, they are both good options that would give me the means to do something good", assures the Frenchman who hopes to have the opportunity to demonstrate his talent for his ninth Grand Prix season.
