The French GP in two months already !

Slowly, spring is looming and with it, the 2009 MotoGP season. In just two months, the French event at Le Mans will be contested: the organizer Claude Michy and our champion Mike Di Meglio were in Paris this morning to remind us. !

New for 2009

In addition to these "great classics", the French GP will also offer holders of the 3-day ticket a visit to the pit lane: a novelty in 2009 "implementation following the decision of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) to abolish free practice on Friday morning for the three categories", explains the organization.

"Concerned about the purchasing power of spectators at the French Grand Prix, the organization initiated a boost for spectators last year in collaboration with Dunlop, historical partner of the French event", recalls Claude Michy’s team.

In 2009, Dunlop did it again by offering a reimbursement of € 22 for the purchase of a set of its new Qualifer 2 tires. This year, the manufacturer’s offer was accompanied by those of Dafy Moto and AMV insurance: a reduction of 10 € (for 100 € of purchase) up to 100 € (for 400 € of purchase) in the stores of the first and one year of assistance (worth 30 €) for any subscription of a contract insurance before June 30, 2009 with the second.

In total, therefore, the maximum amount of reductions will be € 152. What make the purchase of the "General Enclosure" ticket profitable, including "the price remains unchanged"compared to last year: 67 € (62 € before April 14) for the three days, while for Sunday, the price is 54 €.

In addition, Aprilia will organize a raffle to win a Shiver 750, with one year of insurance offered by AMV: "each spectator will be able to participate in this raffle by filling out a voucher available in the Aprilia store located in the GP Village. The draw will be made during the mechanical show on Saturday evening and the winner will be given the motorcycle on the pit straight line on Sunday morning before the start of the races.".

Who knows, maybe the lucky winner – or the lucky winner – will be handed the keys by the number one in French speed, Mike Di Meglio ?!
