With 93,748 spectators this weekend, the Sachsenring is not unanimous among the drivers. Rossi in particular, who desperately needs points to win the title, doesn’t like the German track … World exclusive turn-based !

Particular point of the Sachsenring: it is a small circuit of 3,871 m that is taken "upside down", that is to say in an anti-clockwise direction. Built in 1996 on the site that hosted open road races in the past, it was revised and corrected in 1998 and then in 2003 to better accommodate the powerful MotoGP.

A little less "turnstile" than before, it has only four right turns against ten left, which poses many problems to break in the tires. So some pilots like Randy de Puniet will do two training laps so as not to run on a too new right blank. !

The short straight of 780m has no influence on the draw for the finish line, placed very soon after exiting the last corner. In total, the drivers of the three categories therefore do more laps than elsewhere, on the slowest route of the season at average speed..

At the bottom of the descent, the two pilots delay their braking. The two bikes move under acceleration and De Angelis sets off again to take the ideal trajectory: this is all that Takahashi was waiting for, braking without deviating, reaching up to De Angelis at the entrance of the last one. turn and take the lead, forcing De Angelis to deviate slightly! The advantage taken by the Japanese holds until the finish line despite the desperate attempt of De Angelis, gas in full: his bike rears but the San Marinais will not win yet this time … Lorenzo completes the podium without to have been able to fight for victory.
