The new Ducati 2014 motorcycles at the Paris Motor Show

Monster 1200 / S

The emblematic roadster of the Bologna Rouges is muscle massively by adopting a large twin-cylinder with liquid cooling, tucked into a shoehorn in a trellis frame. Peripherals are top flight as usual (43mm inverted fork, radially mounted monoblock calipers and master cylinder, Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires), as are the electronics (ABS, traction control, ride modes, TFT matrix display).

An even sharper version will also be offered from March 2014 in: the Monster 1200S, which is adorned with Ohlins suspensions and calipers from the 1199 Panigale … Mamma mia !

899 Panigale

Ducati is also expanding its sports range with a "small Panigale" whose displacement of 898 cc makes the classification difficult: big Superport or small Superbike? The Italian takes up the lines of the 1199 Panigale, with the notable exception of its swingarm with two branches (single-arm on 1199). The monocoque chassis and cutting-edge electronics discovered on the SBK are also on the menu.

1199 Panigale Superleggera

Ducati expresses all its talents with this very limited series built on the basis of the already very powerful 1199 Panigale R. Frame and rims in magnesium, rear buckle and carbon fairings, exhaust line, connecting rods and valves in titanium: the Superleggera is a veritable mine of precious materials, driven by an engine spewing more than 200 horsepower !
