Vespa announces its electric scooter for 2018

A year later, this "battery-powered" Vespa still does not shine its absence in the Piaggio dealerships, but it is only partly postponed for the Italian group which would have taken advantage of this additional time to improve its performances, now of the ‘order of "100 km" of autonomy after four hours of recharging on a wall outlet.
Even more interesting: Vespa has developed a second hybrid version called "Elettrica X", which carries a lithium-ion battery and a small 3-liter petrol tank to reach 200 km of range. Vespa becomes with Honda the second manufacturer to offer a hybrid model in 2018, the winged crest having developed one for the Asian market.
