Aged 57 and living in Mellecey (71), Michel had been a grandfather for eight months … He took part in the Rallye des Garrigues 2010 on the handlebars of the Triumph Speed Triple n ° 117 of the Central Team. Former sidecar rider in hill climbs, Michel notably finished 20th in the Ultimate Rallye last year (read) and 50th in the last Dark Dog Moto Tour, also within Thierry Boyer’s Central Team..
"I will not comment on the circumstances of the accident which took away our friend on Saturday evening", explains Thierry Boyer, head of the Central Team: "I only ask all supporters of our sport to come and reflect and pay a last tribute to this enthusiast Wednesday March 17th at 2pm at Mellecey Church ".
Already last year, the Rallye des Garrigues was mourned by the death of Philippe Rousselin during night reconnaissance (read). While waiting for more details on the circumstances of Michel’s accident, the entire Site team joins in the grief of his family and loved ones…
