As part of the fifth round of the French rally championship, the 5th Morvan rally on June 8 and 9 in St Jean de Vaux, will host the 2nd Challenge Central Team .

As part of the fifth round of the French rally championship, the 5th Morvan rally on June 8 and 9 in St Jean de Vaux, will host the 2nd .

This challenge is open mainly to bikers who wish to discover this discipline by taking advantage of an organization already established for its event, while participating in its own right and benefiting from a specific "Central Team" ranking.

The designer of the Central Team challenge is none other than Thierry Boyer, the boss of the Harley-Davidson () and Triumph () dealerships in Sevrey (71). President of the Central Team association – the competition department of the two concessions -, Thierry created this challenge in 2012, on the occasion of the 4th Morvan rally, to encourage some local drivers to register and allow the organizer, the Racing Mob Creusotin, to finance the race.

It is also an excellent opportunity for bikers who do not know road rallying to learn about the discipline. A complete package, barely more expensive than a simple entry fee (225 euros instead of 200 for an entry in a French road rally championship event), includes:

  • An initiation-discovery day of the road rally
  • Commitment to the test
  • An FFM "one test" license
  • A road-book unwinder
  • Technical support before and during the race

No need for "night" preparation on the bike (additional lights), since the Challenge Central Team is only classified on the day stage.

The rankings of the challenge are done individually by category, but also by team (five dealers competing).

More than forty riders are already registered for this Challenge Central Team 2013, but there are still places and entries are possible until the last moment. So bikers from Creusot, Saône-et-Loire, France or Navarre, all at the Servey motorcycle center (71), the starting point of the 5th Morvan rally on Saturday 8 June !
