Back from our reconnaissance in Morocco and Spain, it is with great regret that we inform you that we have to postpone the organization of the Mythic Rally in October 2013..

Indeed, Spain is currently experiencing great difficulties having a very significant impact on the various economic players and of course on bikers, whose purchasing power has deteriorated sharply in recent months..

Thus, our Spanish partners who were to guarantee us around fifteen registrations of pilots and gentlemen drivers are unable to register more than one pilot … what we have just learned.

Given these latest information, the number of participants registered for the Mythic Rally is insufficient to allow us to organize this great event in May under good conditions..

After extensive consultation, both with the Moroccan tourism ministry and with the Spanish and Moroccan motorcycle federations, these institutions have assured us of their unfailing support to enable us to organize the Mythic Rally in the fall, and this under the best conditions..

This is why we have decided to set the new dates for the Mythic Rally which will take place from October 24 to November 1 (the Tunisia Rally Tour being postponed to spring 2014).

This bad news is fortunately accompanied by several positive news, the two most important being:

  • – Thanks to the support of several Moroccan partners, the registration fees drop significantly (-500 € for a pilot), making participation in the Mythic Rally much more affordable for many bikers..
  • – This change of dates gives us the possibility of changing the place of departure of the Mythic Rally. This one will therefore start from the F1 Circuit and Catalunya GP in Barcelona. This exceptional circuit will welcome us on October 23 for checks, and two specials of five laps each will be contested on the 24th from 8:00 am ".

Concretely, pilots already registered have the choice:

  • Either they maintain their registration on which they will be reimbursed the 500 euros of the reduction in the initial entry price (basic pilot entry price formerly 2990 euros reduced today to 2490, see) and at the same time benefit from the " gasoline pack "worth 300 euros covering their fuel costs throughout the rally (offered as compensation for this postponement of the date and as a thank you for their trust).
  • Or they unsubscribe and are reimbursed in full for the sums paid within 30 days.

This postponement is ultimately a bad for a good, the modification of the date allowing the Mythic Rally to be able to run on the mythical circuit of Catalunya.

In addition, many rallymen were stranded in May and will be free at the end of October. Vincent Philippe was not sure whether he could free himself either, but he should definitely be present at the end of October. Finally, the infamous Chevalier de Groland and Prince of Tunisia Serge Nuques has already confirmed his participation, as has Karine Slitz and most of those registered on the original dates.
