A few days before its big comeback in the street "for the recognition of the specificities of motorized two-wheelers" (read in particular MNC of March 3, 2010: the list of 58 FFMC demonstrations of March 13), the French Federation of Angry Bikers ( FFMC) rightly reminds us that the rise of queues – or "interfile circulation", more politically …

A few days before its big comeback in the street "for the recognition of the specificities of motorized two-wheelers" (read in particular), the French Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC) quite rightly recalls that the rise of queues – or "interlocking circulation ", more politically correct – is an integral part of riding a motorcycle or scooter in town.

However, even if it remains for the moment less sanctioned than the circulation in the bus lanes – the forces of "order", which obviously have nothing more urgent to do, show a flawless ingenuity in this regard to trap the two-wheelers, especially in Paris -, the rise of files always exposes its author to a verbalization for "overtaking on the right, non-respect of safety distances and change of lane not motivated by a change of direction" !

"Emblematic of the claims of motorized two-wheelers, traffic between queues in traffic jams has been widely practiced everywhere in Europe for two decades", recalls the FFMC, specifying that it has been legalized "in Austria and the Netherlands, officially tolerated in Belgium and widely practiced everywhere else ".

Believing that "this practice must be framed by rules of common sense, to be taught, to prevent risks and to encourage better sharing of the road", the association for the defense of bikers therefore gives advice on how to climb back up the most safe possible .

Not just anywhere !

"Traffic between the lanes is practiced between the two lanes furthest to the left of the carriageway in the case of expressways with separate carriageways, to the exclusion of other lanes in order not to cause confusion among motorists".

Not anytime !

"Traffic between the lines should only be practiced in the event of a traffic jam when the cars are stopped or moving slowly. When the traffic becomes fluid again, the 2WD must return to the normal traffic lane, taking care not to interfere with the traffic. other users ".

And especially not anyhow !

"Traffic between the lines must be practiced while maintaining a moderate speed differential vis-à-vis the flow of traffic (less than 20km / h). At no time should the 2WD force the passage. It must therefore respect the indicators. direction change (flashing lights) of other vehicles which thus signal their intention to change lane, letting them perform their maneuver without trying to slip through ".
