Marie Gautier-Melleray, new interministerial delegate for road safety
Marie Gautier-Melleray has just been appointed interministerial delegate for road safety and delegate for road safety as of June 29, 2020. University professor, she succeeds Emmanuel Barbe who has held this position since 2015.
Marie Gautier-Melleray, master of requests at the Council of State, was appointed during the interministerial delegate for road safety and delegate for road safety as of June 29, 2020.
Born in September 1972, Ms. Gautier-Melleray was trained at the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) in Bordeaux before becoming a lecturer at the University of Bordeaux then professor of public law at the IEP in Toulouse and at the University of Bordeaux. She has a doctorate in public law and an associate in public law.
Appointed "master of requests in extraordinary service" in May 2012, Ms. Gautier-Melleray was master of requests to the Council of State since October 2015. She was also rapporteur to the High Authority for the transparency of public life from 2014 to 2018 as well as associate professor at the University of Poitiers from 2016 to 2018.
Seconded to the President of the National Assembly as "Justice, Foreigners, Territories and Overseas Advisor" since July 2018 (to François de Rugy and then to Richard Ferrand), Marie Gautier-Melleray succeeds Emmanuel Barbe who previously occupied be from Bouches-du-Rhône (13) in February 2020.
