"The regional government of Andalusia, the town hall of Jerez de la Frontera and Dorna Sports have proposed to the Spanish government that the Jerez circuit host two MotoGP Grand Prix and a WorldSBK event", announce the three parties at the end of the a videoconference meeting this morning.

If the Spanish government agrees, the first two MotoGP Grand Prix of the 2020 season would therefore take place on the Jerez circuit: the "Spanish Grand Prix" on July 18/19 and the "Andalusia Grand Prix" July 25/26, presumably behind closed doors. The World Superbike event will be held on August 2..
